Hi. I'll be doing a full update later today.
We are now at the farm in Italy. We got a wee bit lost yesterday following google maps, then we had to re-route as a result of an car crash that closed the rural highway we were on, then there was the amazing thunder and lightning storm we drove through. At the same time you are driving by old Roman aqueducts, medieval walled villages and towns, castles on hillsides, rolling hills of wheat and fortified farm houses..... We stopped for lunch at Bagnoreggio, a hilltop village hanging off the top of a very precarious looking stone mount in the middle of a valley (pictures later); just amazing...
