Cesky Krumlov - Part 2

Started the day with another hearty breakfast of eggs, bacon, pastries, fruit, meats and cheeses.  We haven't yet commented on our accomodations and breakfasts.  All have been excellent - spacious rooms with lovely views and plentiful breakfasts to start the day.

Today we explored more of Cesky Krumlov, spending much of the time in the castle complex and gardens given the limited access for Laurel.  Edward and the girls went up the bell tower to take in the view of the village.  They also went through an art exhibit housed in an extensive cellar area with various rooms and tunnels jutting off in odd directions.  Later we wandered back around and down into the village from another direction before heading back to our B n B for a break.  Edward stopped in at the main cathedral but alas, was not permitted to take pictures of the extensive and elaborate baroque interior with all its art, marble, sculptures, gilt, and amazing ornate organ, sigh.

We decided to take in dinner on the river and Edward had another traditional meal and more of the great Czech beer. The girls enjoyed more modern fare this time around.  We are off tomorrow afternoon for Rome via Linz and Innsbruk.... so might not get a post in until Sunday.....
